By accessing or using EditPDFree ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any updates or modifications to these terms.
Service Description
EditPDFree provides free online tools for PDF, Word document, and image processing. Our tools include merging, splitting, compressing, converting, and editing files. All processing happens directly in your web browser using client-side JavaScript technology. Your files are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.
Free vs Premium Plans
EditPDFree offers both free and premium tiers:
- Free plan — Access to all tools with the following limits: maximum file size of 100 MB, up to 3 tasks per day, and a maximum of 5 files per batch operation.
- Premium plan — Removes all usage limits, enables larger file sizes (up to 4 GB), provides unlimited daily tasks, removes advertisements, unlocks OCR functionality, and grants priority support.
Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access to Premium features continues until the end of the current billing period.
User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the files you process using EditPDFree. You agree not to use the Service for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, processing files that infringe on third-party intellectual property rights, contain malicious content, or violate applicable laws and regulations.
Intellectual Property
The EditPDFree name, logo, website design, and all associated content are the intellectual property of EditPDFree and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent. Your files remain entirely yours — we claim no ownership or rights over any documents you process through our tools.
No Warranty
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any results obtained through the use of our tools.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EditPDFree shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss, file corruption, loss of profits, or any other damages resulting from the use or inability to use our tools.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to accounts that violate these Terms of Service, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Any provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
