3. How We Process Your Files

This is a fundamental design principle of EditPDFree. When you use any of our tools — whether merging PDFs, converting Word documents, compressing images, or any other operation — the entire process takes place locally within your browser using JavaScript. Your files are loaded into your browser's memory, processed there, and the output is generated on your device.

We have no ability to access, view, read, copy, or store any file you open or create using our tools. Once you close the browser tab or navigate away from the page, all file data held in browser memory is discarded. No file content is ever transmitted over the internet to EditPDFree or any third party.

• Cookies — Cookie lifetimes vary by type. Essential cookies expire at the end of your session. Analytics and advertising cookies typically have a lifespan of up to 13 months.
• localStorage Data — Data stored in your browser's localStorage persists until you clear your browser data or we update our site to remove it.

10. International Data Transfers
